My Family's Southwest Florida Coast Cruise Adventure

Pano (1 of 1)-547If I'm offered a good case in Florida or a good case somewhere else, South Florida will win every time.

Note:  I hope no one is offended my the quote, but it's my attempt at humor :

While visiting my father in Southern Florida for his birthday and my birthday which are one day apart, we went on a short cruise.  He and I along with his girlfriend went on a small ship excursion along the southern coast of Florida in the Naples area.  The cruise lasted a little more than 2 hours and was a lot of fun!

We saw a great deal of incredible and beautiful architecture along with some nice beach areas.  We saw some enormous boats yachts parked in front of almost every home we passed. We enjoyed the nice weather that we started out, but toward the end of the cruise the weather turned windy and stormy.   There were a lot of the fluffy storm clouds were very nice to take photos of.

The small ship we were on was very nice.
It had a bar of fireplace along wi
th a very comfortable dining/seating area.  These cruises go out several times a day most of the year.  Over the summer months it does not leave as there are not as many people in Florida to go along these cruises many are back up north and still follow arrives.

We only paid $19.00 per person for this lovely cruise using a deal through Groupon.  The price is normally $39.00 per person. I definitely felt as the price was reasonable even at $39.00 a person.

If you like to take photos this is a great opportunity as you get seascape photos that you can't get from land. Pictures look so different when you can see the ocean and the sky together from a different perspective.  The Naples area of Florida is an interesting area and quite picturesque  - my opinion of course.   We found it a great way to spend an afternoon!

I would think this cloud looked like a little like a hurricane if I hadn't lived in Florida for almost seven years.
Pano (1 of 1)-547I love trying to capture panoramo photos.  It's not easy for me, but I like to capture as much as I can.

Pano (1 of 1)-547I loved all of the houses I saw.  I really can't identify a favorite.  The captain said there was one being built with 30,000 square feet!
